Your Questions: Answered

  • Two interlocking angled strips of metal. One mounts to the wall, one mounts to the back of your panel. Hang the panel on the wall cleat, and the angles lock together. Simple, strong, and perfectly level every time.

  • Either will work for most installations. The 4” cleat gives you a slightly wider mounting surface, which can be helpful with larger or heavier panels. When in doubt, the 4” is a safe bet.

  • If you have a stud directly behind one or both of the mounting holes for your cleat, simply use the included 1 1/4” screws and forgo the drywall anchors.

  • Yes. French cleat kits are designed for use with wall panels, tri-corner traps, QRDs, and PRD diffusers.
