  • It depends on what's happening in your room. Low Profile Panels (1.5" deep) are built for speech-focused spaces like offices, restaurants, and classrooms. High-Mid Panels (2.5" deep) work where speech and music overlap, like churches, home studios, and gyms. Broadband Panels (4.5" deep) and Bass Trap Panels (6.5" deep) deliver the accuracy that studios, listening rooms, and home theaters require. Not sure where to start?   • It depends on your room size and acoustic goals. A common mistake is underestimating coverage. Most spaces need treatment on multiple walls and often the ceiling to achieve meaningful results. We provide free room layout designs to help you get it right. Send us your room dimensions and photos and we'll show you exactly what your space needs.

  • Rockwool mineral wool cores, solid 3/4" plywood frames, and commercial-grade fabric from Guilford of Maine and Burch Fabrics. All materials meet Class A fire rating requirements (ASTM E84) and are appropriate for studios, homes, offices, schools, churches, and commercial spaces. These panels are built to last decades.

  • Everything from bedroom studios and podcast rooms to large church sanctuaries, commercial restaurants, professional recording studios, and multi-room corporate installations. Our free room design service scales to any project, and we regularly design and deliver large-scale treatments. We have the production capacity, logistics, and expertise to support projects of any size.

  • We encourage customers to compare. Our panels use Rockwool cores, solid plywood frames, and commercial-grade fabrics. Every product is independently tested at Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories following ASTM C423 standards. Our pricing is consistently competitive with or lower than comparable products from other companies, while our build quality and acoustic performance meet or exceed what you'll find anywhere in the industry.   • Because they actually solve acoustic problems. Foam and thin PET felt absorb high frequencies but do almost nothing below 2 kHz, leaving rooms sounding muddy and unbalanced. Our panels use Rockwool, solid wood frames, and commercial-grade fabric to deliver real absorption across the frequency ranges that matter. They'll still be working perfectly 20 years from now.

  • Absorption reduces sound energy, controlling echo, reverb, and muddiness. Diffusion scatters sound energy, maintaining liveliness and dimension while reducing harsh reflections. Most well-treated rooms use a combination of both. We offer a full range of absorption panels and diffusers, and our free room design consultations help you find the right balance.

  • Yes. In addition to our standard product line, we build custom panels, diffusers, and gobos. Custom sizing, fabric selections, and specialized configurations are all available. Contact us with your project details for a quote.

  • Yes, for every customer regardless of project size. Send us your room dimensions, photos, and goals, and we'll create a layout showing exactly where to place treatment for the best results.

  • Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. A 10% restocking fee applies. All products include a 3-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. For full details, visit our Returns and Warranty pages.

Shipping

  • All of our products are made to order. Once we receive your order, we will add it to our production queue and get started on it ASAP. Orders are typically ready for pick up or shipping in one to two weeks. *Lead times may vary for larger orders.

  • You will receive a tracking number by email when your order has been dispatched.

  • If an item has been damaged in transit, we will provide you with a replacement or a full refund. Please contact us with your order details and a photo of the damaged item.

  • We accept payments from major credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as Paypal and via Check.

  • Absolutely. If you are close by or don't mind a drive, you are welcome to pick up your order at our shop and avoid the shipping fees. To place a local pick-up order, email us with your order and we will get it processed.

Returns

  • We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, we accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms below:

    • Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returned items.
    • Condition: Returned items must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging intact.
    • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all shipping charges to and from our shop. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
    • Return Authorization: Please contact us before returning any items so we can provide return instructions and ensure your return is processed smoothly.


    Non-Returnable Items:

    Custom products cannot be returned. This includes:

    • Custom sizes
    • Panels with integrated lighting
    • Acoustic Art Panels
    • Panels wrapped in special-order fabrics (any fabric outside our 15 standard colors)

    If you’re unsure whether your order qualifies as a custom product, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing your order. We’re happy to clarify.

  • We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order, please review the following terms:

    Standard Made-to-Order Products: Orders can be cancelled at no charge as long as production has not yet begun. Once production has started, cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover materials and labor already allocated.

    Custom Products: Orders for custom products (including custom sizes, panels with lighting, Acoustic Art Panels, or panels wrapped in special-order fabrics) cannot be cancelled once production has started. If you’re unsure whether your order includes custom items, please contact us.

    We recommend reaching out as soon as possible if you’re considering a cancellation—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

  • Return shipping is paid for by the customer.
