Designed to mount Broadband, Bass Trap, and SubFreQ panels across room corners for maximum low frequency control. This kit secures panels tightly in wall to wall vertical corners or wall to ceiling horizontal corners.

Straddling corners with Bass Trap and SubFreQ panels directly targets room modes, improving low end balance, depth, and translation where it matters most.

Hardware-only orders typically ship the same day or the following business day via UPS Ground.

If hardware is ordered alongside acoustic treatment, the hardware will ship together with the rest of your order.

Local pickup is available in Nashville.

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. A 10% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Custom and special-order items are not eligible for return.

Music City Acoustics LLC provides installation guides as a general reference for installing acoustic panels on walls or ceilings. Per corner trap:

• #6 Hook Screws (4)

•  #6 Eye Screws (2)

• 1 1/2” S Hooks (2)

• 3/16” x 3” Eye Bolt Toggle Wings (2)

• Turnbuckles (2)

• 8” #1 Chain (2)

Installation is easier with screw hooks in the panel and wall but can also be accomplished with eye screws and S hooks in the panel. Use a wood block or extra acoustic panel as a spacer to hold the panel above the floor when attaching hardware and tensioning turnbuckles.

Only use toggles when screw hooks are not an option. For concrete walls or metal framing, wood blocking and self-tapping screws or tap cons are required.

Corner Bass Trap Install Guide

Your Questions: Answered

  • The Corner Mounting Hardware Kit is designed for use with our Broadband, Bass Trap, and SubFreQ panels.

  • Corner-mounted panels straddle the corner, placing absorption directly at the pressure boundary where bass buildup is strongest. Our testing at Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories showed that corner-mounted Bass Trap and SubFreQ panels absorbed significantly more low-frequency energy per unit than our tri-corner traps at 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 125 Hz. Full test reports are available on request.

  • You will need wood blocking and self-tapping screws or tap cons. The included screw hooks and toggle bolts are designed for wood framing and drywall.

  • Yes. The kit supports both orientations. How you orient your panels depends on your room layout, ceiling height, and acoustic goals. Your install guide covers placement recommendations for both configurations.
